Bosch Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor for the BMW N63 4.4L twin-turbo V8. It measures the volume of intake air so the DME can compute the correct fuel charge; a degrading sensor produces inaccurate readings that show up as rough idle, hesitation, reduced power, poor fuel economy, or a check-engine light, eventually leading to stalling if left unaddressed.
