This is an exhaust heat shield/insulating blanket from M7 Speed that wraps the exhaust manifold area to reduce underhood temperatures. It uses aerospace-grade insulating materials, with a reflective silver thermal fabric outer layer bearing an embroidered M7 logo and a woven Nomex backing, over a high-performance composite nano-fiber ceramic pad core; independent testing showed an average underhood temperature reduction of roughly 68°F in mixed driving. It is made in the USA and installs in about an hour with the included hardware and instructions.
Fitment: MINI Cooper S, chassis R53 (and the related R50/R52 platform), fitted with the W11B16A supercharged engine.
